NASCAR x-over with Transformers – Optimus vs Megatron

Posted in Photo/Pictures, Revenge of the Fallen with tags , on October 19, 2009 by primerevolver

This past Saturday, if you were watching NASCAR you probably saw two cars, 24’s Jeff Gord0n and 39’s Ryan Newman, with their car’s dected out Transformers style. Painted (or probaly stickered idk) on their hoods were Megatron (Gordon) and Optimus Prime (Newman). This took place at the 50th running NASCAR Banking 500 only from Bank of America at Lowe’s Motor Speedway.

To the left is Micheal Bay (duh).

Not only where their car’s detailed with Megatron and Optimus Prime so where the pit-crews.

The event was for the soon to be relased Revenge of the Fallen which I’ll be grabbing October 20th. (DVD or Blu-ray)

You can check the full article out on Tformers. And full gallery taken from the speedway.

Btw. No I don’t like NASCAR, but this was awesome.

Motomaster in Tennessee

Posted in miscellaneous with tags on September 27, 2009 by primerevolver

Found this via twitter thanks to Sibertron {twitter}.

I always love when someone goes and makes a real life replucation of an Transformer. And while we most commonly see Autobot replucations every once in a while we’ll see a Decepticon one. I’m not much fan of the Decepticon Motormaster (the Stunticon leader) I have to say, the person who redid this truck did a pretty darn good job at it.

And I could have so gone seen him for my self. If I could hitch a ride or something. Tennesse isn’t that far away.

Incoming Universe!Hardhead

Posted in Toys/Action Figures with tags on September 19, 2009 by primerevolver

Hasbro, Takara and them companys incharge of our Transformer’s toy lines are, imo, natorious for making repaints of tf toys. Normally I don’t have a problem with this, and right now, I don’t now either. Repainted from Universe Onslaught, which I have yet to grab which, also, is shame on me because I’m a Combaticon/Bruticus fan and I like Onslaught. But anyway, yeah, introducing Universe Hardhead.

RotF Surpasses $400 Billion

Posted in Revenge of the Fallen on September 11, 2009 by primerevolver

For what reports are saying Revenge of the Fallen has surpassed the $400 billion mark this past Labor Day. With help from G.I.Joe ($140.9 million) and Star Trek ($257.2 million) it has helped get Paramount to the second highest spot studio during the summer box office seasons. Though Eddie Murphy’s most recent film, Imagine That, was a contributor to keeping Paramount down.

Who’s on first (cooks to anyone who get’s that) is Warner Bros this summer with just under $1 billion in box office ticket sales. Thanks to Harry Potter ($297.6 mill) and The Hangover ($272.2 mill).

RofF Nominated in ‘Scream 09′ From Spike TV

Posted in Revenge of the Fallen with tags on September 2, 2009 by primerevolver

Apparently five eleven times from Spike TV’s 2009 Scream. . .is that a good thing?

Transformers Revenge of the Fallen Grabs Five eleven Nominations In these Catagories (edit):

  • Ultimate Scream
  • Best Sci-Fi Movie
  • Best Actress (Megan Fox)
  • Best Actor (Shia LaBeouf)
  • Breakout Performance Female (Isabel Lucas)
  • Best Cameo (Rainn Wilson)
  • Best Director (Michael Bay)
  • Best Sequel
  • Best F/X
  • Scream Song of the Year (“New Divide” by Linkin Park)
  • Fight-to-the-Death Scene of the Year

The only thing I can figure ’scream’ wise, is when Alice started attempting to molest and then attempt to kill Sam and yeah, Sam freaked out and let out a girly highpitch scream. *key audience lol*

Offcial Images of the ‘Ice Cream Truck’

Posted in Revenge of the Fallen, Toys/Action Figures with tags on August 30, 2009 by primerevolver

Kinda hard to believe how long it’s been since we first saw those mysterious clips on youtube about the ‘ice cream truck’. Yet it wasn’t so long ago actually. Most people I’ve met or talked to/about said that the ice cream truck, now known as Mudflap and Skids from Revenge of the Fallen, is awesome and an offcial ‘want’. Don’t know why but I have to admit, I gotta get it myself just for the giggles.

Wildman Back With 6 ‘Iconic’ Covers

Posted in Comic Books with tags , , on August 25, 2009 by primerevolver

Andrew Wildman, many of us know, worked on a good portion of Dreamwave’s Transformers series way back when. His first work in the our world of Transformers doing a couple for Marvel UK. Wildman hops in and out of the fandom occasionally doing works. And like so Wildman posted up on his Twitter not long ago that he has been comm-ished by IDW to do six cover’s, for what series or character’s he didn’t say. We’ll have to wait and see then? All he’s hinted at thus far is that the character’s for the cover’s will be ‘iconic’ ones.

Allspark Almanac Sneak Peak

Posted in TF Animated with tags , on August 20, 2009 by primerevolver

Well, the first way I found out about it was via Derrick Wyatt’s Twitter. Which, if I remember just gave a preview of the cover for signings on his blog. But my memory sucks. Anyway. Jim Sorenson released on his blog, Disciples of Boltax a sneak peak into the Almanac. The book’s just give’s details about the characters and the shows of Transformers Animated that we possibably didn’t get while watching the show. It’s good for those fans who like that bit of extra detail.

Here’s two links on Sorenson’s blog regarding the Allspark Almanac if your interested.

Revealed RotF Covers

Posted in Revenge of the Fallen with tags on August 11, 2009 by primerevolver

From weber_dubois22 who got it from Seibertron. It’s just been released so it’s still fresh. Go me. Here’s some look of what the TF RotF DVD box cover is going to look like. Not the only one I imagine. If they did like they did with the last there will be a few more other covers.

The first is a 2-disc special ed. with battle scared OP and the second is the regular. Like I said I bet they’ll release oen with a different cover(s).
